Although it might not the be the nicest fact in the world to report, it seems that the untimely death of actor Heath Ledger has definitely benefited The Dark Knight action figure line.

According to the New York Post, droves of people lined up early at the Toys “R” Us store in Times Square last week to get their hands on the first Joker figure with the likeness of Heath Ledger from the upcoming Batman sequel.

“There are none left in the warehouse, either. You will be waiting a while if you want one,” one store employee said.

The hard-to-get Jokers, which retail for $9.99, were already up for grabs on eBay - with one being sold as part of a $55 package with a Batman figure.

A Mattel spokeswoman said the action figures were delivered to some stores a week ago, but many stores are still waiting for shipments.

Harrison Ford Buys Indy Toys!

In other movie-toy news, none other than Harrison Ford was spotted emerging from a store with some of the new Indiana Jones toys in hand last week. ThisIsLondon.co.uk has the pictures, where it seems the star picked up at least one twelve-inch figure from the new Crystal Skull assortment. The only question is, did he buy Talking Indy or Whip Cracking Indy? Because we know he couldn’t have picked up a Mutt Williams figure. No one is buying Mutt. We can’t speak for the film itself, but as far as the action figure goes, Shia’s character is definitely the new Jar Jar.

We’ll all know if we want any of those Mutt Williams figures for our very own after the first show of The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, ONE WEEK from tonight!!
